Stein Seal offers a full range of machining services, with over a dozen CNC machines. Off-shore machining operations are located in India, Mexico and the Czech Republic. These plants have achieved ISO and AS9100 Aerospace Certifications and full-scope machining capability. Our plants practice “Lean Manufacturing” cells throughout our facilities. All components we produce are measured to verify dimensional requirements using computer-controlled CMMs.

Our dynamic testing laboratory has over 25 test rigs, including 2 inter-shaft rigs, all custom-designed to Stein’s high standards. Each can be reconfigured quickly for multiple programs to provide fast, concurrent, cost-efficient testing for our customers.

Stein’s extensive evaluation process is valued for its thoroughness and expediency. Before any seal repair is begun, our engineers perform a visual inspection of the seal and present a thorough report documenting the findings at each stage, as well as a quote for any repairs deemed necessary to return the seal to its original condition.
