You would think that seven decades of seal innovation, the latest advances in hydrostatic testing, and cutting-edge hydrogen sealing technology would play a leading role in generating buzz about Stein Seals Industrial Division over the past year. Not this year. That was all Sealvester’s doing.
Tradeshows We Attended in 2025
We Grew Despite Economic Uncertainty
Throughout the year, Stein Seal aggressively invested in industry-leading technologies, expanding our manufacturing capacity with 7 additional machines, including:
- 2- Mazak I700
- 3- Zeiss Duramax HT’s
- 1- Doosan – DVFT-8000
- 1- Okuma MC-60
These advanced machines allow us to continue to push the boundaries of seal technology, but only with a skilled workforce operating them.
We Welcomed a New Set of Stein Seal Pups
Stein Seal is one of the only companies in the area to have a pre-apprentice program and a state-supervised four-year apprentice program. The pre-apprentice program was developed with support from the MCIU-Montgomery County intermediate unit, allowing Stein to develop talent, improve the skills of incoming employees, and train the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
The Retired But Never Forgotten
While 2025 brought a new set of talented individuals to the Stein Seal Industrial team, the year wasn’t without loss. After years of trusted service, several team members transitioned into much-deserved retirement. We wish them the best as they set out on the next phase of their adventures.
We’re Leading the Industry into the Next Quarter Century
Between a schedule full of tradeshow appearances, advancing our research into molten salt seals, and developing next-gen replacements for subsea and maritime service, we’re excited to see what the coming years have to offer.
